Reprise

What if the rain keeps drifting away
What if the stars fall from the sky
What if the sun never shows up
What if the clouds are always grey
What if our love dies
What if the sea swallows us all
What if the Earth gets sick
What if they keep telling us lies
What if we all lose hope
What if nobody wakes up tomorrow
What if the Humanity goes crazy
What if we have no more home
What if the world comes to an end
What if my family is in trouble
What if my job is over
What if I miss my only friend
What if dreams never come true
What if life is made of nothing
What if hate is everywhere
What if I don’t have you
Breathe in, breathe out
And make every moment count.

I love these words my dear friend. A big truth!

Filipa, I was out of breath after reading this poem, even though I was reading silently! A great reminder not to borrow trouble. We can find many things to worry about, but most of them never happen! It also brought to mind the story about Chicken Little. 🙂

Oh Cheryl, your words comfort me. As you said, most of the times, the things we worry about never happen. So why should we worry?
