I’ve just returned last evening from Lisbon. We had rain, cold, wind and snow the whole way from Rennes to Saint-Malo (where we live). In Portugal the weather was pleasant. Sunny and warm. 😉

Oh…c’est vrai! 😉 I didn’t want to return. It was very hard to say goodbye to my mother and to leave my family, even if each one of us lives in a different country.

Colin, I don’t remember if I told that my mother died last week. 68 years old and struggling with a very nasty cancer (the 3rd one). My Stay in Lisbon was full of pain and sorrow but we were all united. Looking forward for Easter! 🤍🕊

Oh no!! I am so very sorry to hear that! I recall that she had been ill and your joy at going over to see here once all the various lockdowns were eased but had no idea she had not recovered. Please accept my heartfelt condolences! May she rest in peace and I wish you and your family all the love and strength possible at this terrible time.
