I’m glad you like it, Cheryl! No, this castle is not abandoned. It was just under remodelation. It’s in the Loire Valley, well-known for its castles and vineyards. We have been there three times. We love this region! We can visit the castles and their gardens. The second picture is from the Mairie (City Hall).

My late husband and I cruised to Normandy once, took a drive through the countryside, and spent a couple days in Paris. You live in such a lovely, historic country!

It’s true, Cheryl! I have lived in 5 different countries and visited so many others, but I must say France is very complete. I lived 8 years in Paris, and for the last five years, Brittany is my home. We are not far from Normandy.
