Few people go to art exhibitions nowadays, the art comes to them!

Chris Geiger

Art is an evolutionary act. The shape of art and its role in society is constantly changing. At no point is art static. There are no rules.

Painting is poetry that is seen rather than felt, and poetry is painting that is felt rather than seen.

Leonardo da Vinci

To draw you must close your eyes and sing.

Água

Algumas expressões (bem!) Portuguesas

Details

Reprise

A child laughing
The petal detaching from the flower
An old lady smiling
The sun shining
A leaf dancing in the wind
The seasons passing by
An old man grumbling
The foaming wave rolling
A bird singing
The clouds clearing the sky
A fruit falling from the tree
The world spinning around
What is life after all
If not a sum of details?

Utopia

I wish I had wings to fly to a better place
I wish we could erase all the sadness of the world
I wish I could open all the locked doors
I wish hope and peace were our best friends
I wish we knew how to end floods and fires
I wish I could give a voice to those who cannot speak
I wish we could heal the Earth
I wish I could shut down all the stupids
I wish cancer didn’t exist (or it was just an ugly word!)
I wish the earthquakes were only real in action movies
I wish Haiti would be a happy country again
I wish we could reset the world.

Let’s go!

It’s the end of the world
So what?!
Grab my hand… let’s move on
Take your bike
Go for a walk
Enjoy the ride
Alone or with your best friend
If life gives you spoons
Eat an ice-cream
If you have knives instead
Cut everything except your head
If the sky showers your brain with heavy rain
Forget the umbrella
Be grateful!
Your villain thoughts will be washed away
Remember the best is yet to come
Meanwhile, let’s party!

Life is a garden

Reprise

Life is a colourful garden
Dressed up in yellow, orange, white, rose and violet
Life is a beautiful garden
Where different fragrances wave the ones who pass by
Life is a magic garden
Showered with love and protected by the sun
Life is an unique garden
Where all sorts of flowers dance in the wind
Life is a secret garden
Are you willing to unveal it?

Summer VI

It’s a smile, it’s a kiss, it’s a sip of wine … It’s summertime!

Feeling alive!

Reprise

A walk throught the clouds
The wind messing up with my hair
Feeling the breeze on my face
And the grass cracking below my feet
I can almost guess what the sea smells like
Surrounded by colourful flowers
From all sorts of fragrances (just my imagination!)
I wish I could put all these sensantions into words.

P.S. Due to an accident, I’ve lost the smell (and 90% of the vision of my right eye) when I was a baby.
Trying to imagine the smell of things is a constant challenge.
