I gave you wings But it was you who made me fly I gave you space But it was you who set me free I gave you my support But it was you who brushed me up when I most needed it I give you several reasons to be happy But it is who puts a smile on my face I give you strength But it is you pushes me further I give you love But it is you who changes my world I keep listening to my dreams But it is you who makes impossible things happen.
Put some colours in your life Make it sharp and bright! A gorgeous yellow sky Don’t be shy! A cheerful blue sunrise It’s time to be unwise! Orange grass everywhere We’ll get there! A green deep sea Just wait and see! A red mystic hill Just make it real! And a violet sunset Faultless!
I have just bought the flight for Summer vacation. Me and the children will be staying in Portugal three whole weeks. Just because family comes first. Lisboa, Tomar, Faro, Tavira. I am sure we will share tears and good laughter. Two special birthdays will be celebrated; my brother and nephew have the same name (Diogo) and were both born in July.
I’m listening to George Ezra and I just feel like crying, laughing and dancing in the middle at the kitchen. I am happy and sad at the same time. Mãe won’t be there and we will miss her…so much! Saudades will never go away. Nevertheless, avó is always in our hearts.
Usually, I only have two weeks during Summer, but this year there will be three in a row! We only live once and time flies, so let’s enjoy every second. I’ll be counting down the days until the 4th of July. Meanwhile… carpe diem!
Hot wheels. Engines on fire. Fast dreams. Hearts bumping. Lotus, Ferrari, Toyota, Porsche. I’ve tried them all. As a copilot, of course! And I admit I’m a lousy one. Who cares? I’ve never been very found of cars. They are just meant to take us from A to B, afterall. Little did I know I was about to have the time of my life. Who could have thought? Suddenly, all my fears were washed away. The faster we went, the lighter I felt. That precious hour looked like one minute to me. Needless to say, I wanted more! I must thank my company’s CEO for his great idea. And I’ll also ask him when will we go for another ride.
Am I stil in Brittany? As I go down the street It looks like Ireland to me Good old memories Dancing in my mind Green valleys Sheperd hills Stone houses With colourful eyes Mystic fog and humid air Redhead children playing outside And sunny days sometimes The pub around the corner Is missing from the pictures Was I dreaming? Oh, so it is France indeed I hoped it was Ireland instead I shall drink a bitter cider Wishing it was a Guinness pint.
