Yesterday, today, tomorrow

Yesterday’s the past, tomorrow’s the future, but today is a gift. That’s why it’s called the present.

Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

Father and son

Reprise

Dear son,

This song is for you, my reason of beaming
This colourful painting is for you, my reason of living
This poem is for you, my reason of being
This letter is for you, my reason of smiling
This landscape is for you, my reason of believing
This mystic fog is for you, my reason of doubting
This home is for you, my reason of trusting
This love is for you, my reason of moving
Forward…always.

Immortality

Reprise

Death will never tear us apart
You belong to that special category
You are everywhere
Your voice is in my mind
Always
Your wise advice are dancing in my brain
Faultless
Your sweet hug keeps me company
All the time
Memories will be my best friend
No matter what
Your body is weak and shrunken
It’s OK
One day, the pain will slide away
Forever
But our love will remain
For Eternity
Why would you need a cracked body
If you already have the most important?
A beautiful clear soul
And remember, yours is immortal.

Obstacles

Reprise

I knew the bad news was lurking, but I decided to go straight ahead
I avoided the sharp corners
Firmly
Without any notice, the pebble turned into a boulder
And I can no longer kick it and move on
Sooner or later I have to face reality
I have my fingers crossed
Always
Until then, let’s party!

Let’s go!

Reprise

What if we only have two minutes left?
What if the stars fall from the sky?
What if our friends are no longer here?
What if the sea drowns all the fishes?
What if there is no future anymore?
What if Earth swallows us all?
What if our family leaves us behind?
What if the sun doesn’t rise?
We must not waste time
Let’s go!

La vie s’en passe

Cage de peurs
Peurs en cage
Rage d’amour
Amour en rage
Page blanche

Allons-y!
Où?
Vivre!

Utopia

I wish I had wings to fly to a better place
I wish we could erase all the sadness of the world
I wish I could open all the locked doors
I wish hope and peace were our best friends
I wish we knew how to end floods and fires
I wish I could give a voice to those who cannot speak
I wish we could heal the Earth
I wish I could shut down all the stupids
I wish cancer didn’t exist (or it was just an ugly word!)
I wish the earthquakes were only real in action movies
I wish Haiti would be a happy country again
I wish we could reset the world.
