No man’s land

World Refugee Day

They spend their lives running away
Escaping war, starvation, floods, diseases
They leave their family and friends behind
No time for tears or goodbyes
We call them foreigners, refugees, migrants
But we tend to forget that we are not so different from us
They are just human beings trying to survive.

Take me to the theory land
Because in theory
Everything will to be all right

Don’t wake me up
Not today nor tomorrow
Let me live in the fairytale for a while

I’m not ready for your world yet
I need more time to heal my soul
Wish me good luck

You know where to find me
Between one thing and another
I’ll be living my dreams.

Lost in the woods

Sometimes I’m so afraid of the world
Every tiny little thing can hurt me
Sensitive and scared
Tired and frustrated
I need time
My body is resting
And my words keep silent
In an effervescent mind
Please, don’t wake me up
I’m not ready wet.

Strawberries field

We cry in silence
We lost our guidance
We need sweetness
And a hint of happiness
The world has gone crazy
And human beings are too lazy
To keep fighting for their rights
Violence exploses like dynamite
We should pray instead
For those who are already dead
We need to have faith and hope
And trust the Almighty above
Everything happens for a reason
And bad things won’t last the whole season
So, let’s stay together
Today, tomorrow, forever!

Head in the clouds, feet on the ground

I’m always thinking of new things
My head is full of dreams
Sometimes I don’t feel my body at all
But I rescue myself wherewithal
I need no wings to fly
Or sad feelings to cry
My soul is alone
But it knows the way back home
My feet are strong
But they are allowed to be wrong
Life is more than black or white
Humans are not always right
And that’s the whole miracle
Of this invisible struggle.

Fake world

Truth to tell, we are all criminals if we remain silent.

Stefan Zweig

We all know about everything
And if we don’t, we just pretend
The world is in peace
In case you wonder…
The far-right wing doesn’t exist
It’s just your imagination
The global warming is an illusion
A cartoon in motion
No animals are on the way to extinction
And all the ones above are real
Aren’t they?
Oh, we live in such a beautiful world!
So why change it?

From Martinique with love

In order to write about life first you must live it.

A friend of mine sent me this picture. What a lovely gift! I love flowers and this one is special because it blooms in exotic places.
I wonder which name I’ll give it. I don’t care about its common name and even less to the scientific one. I’ll just call it… LIFE!
I know how trivial it is, but for the past year we almost forgot how magical life can be.
Shall this flower remind us that simple things can make the difference.
Shall this flower coulour up our sad days.
Shall this flower pink our lives.
Shall this flower envelop us in a soft fragrance.
Shall this flower help us to face our fears.
Shall this flower keep us on the bright side.
Shall this flower show us that love will never die.

Why does the sea water taste like salt?
Because that’s where the tears from the clouds land

Why is the sun so hot?
To keep us warm when we are sad

Why does it rain over our heads?
To wash the bad feelings away

Why is the grass green?
To make us happy when days are grey

Why do the stars shine?
To show us the path

Why is the moon so big and bright?
To take care of Mother Earth

Why do numbers never end?
So we count them again and again

Why do some people fight?
They can no longer see the difference between wrong and right

Why is love so important?
Because without it, we would already be dead.
